I have over 25 years of experience as an educator. I spent five years as a regular math teacher and 20 years as a special educator teaching in an outdoor treatment center, an alternative school and in regular public high schools. I also spent a few years teaching education majors at NC State University. I have taught or co-taught most high school core classes. My first degree was in Aerospace Engineering with further degrees in Learning Disabilities (MEd.) and Curriculum and Instruction (PhD.)
